The cultural and natural patrimony is a tool for the knowledge and recognition that allows to develop the belonging and the identity of the communities. FUNAP promotes spaces for reflection and debate about the cultural and social significance of heritage that involve different sectors of society.
In FUNAP we consider education as the cornerstone of the preservation of cultural and natural heritage. Therefore, the Foundation promotes projects that facilitate the exercise of the right to know and enjoy the cultural and natural heritage of humanity
Diffusion is a direct consequence of our investigative and formative intervention, and by alliances with museums and other heritage-promoting institutions. To complement this work, we also use a variety of media, both audiovisual and multimedia, of high incidence in the children and youth audience that are the main interest group of the foundation.
